Setting up Notion in a new home is easy. Don't forget to pack your bridge and sensors when you go!
It will be easiest to delete your hardware from your account before you move. This way you don't need to remember which sensor is supposed to be for your front door or your back door. To delete your sensors, go to the sensor icon in the Notion app and click the sensors tab. Then click one of your sensors and click the button at the bottom that says "delete sensor". Do this for each of your sensors. Then click the bridges tab, click your bridge and click the button at the bottom that says "delete bridge".
When you get to your new home and your new WiFi network is set up, reset your bridge. With the bridge plugged in, insert a pin or a paperclip into the pinhole next to the LED window. Press the reset button for 10 seconds, unplug your bridge and plug it back in. Then go through the system set up process again to suit your sensors for your new home.
To set everything back up, click the sensor icon in the Notion app. Click the bridges tab and click where it says "add new bridge". Follow the on-screen prompts to re-provision your bridge. Then go to the sensors tab and click where it says "add new sensors" and again follow the prompts for your sensors. When it is time to stick your sensors to new surfaces, you may need replacement adhesives. Feel free to contact our support team to request more. We are available at email@example.com or by phone at (877)668-4660.
Once your bridge is set up again and your sensors are reconnected, your Notion kit will immediately provide awareness about your new home just as it did with your old home.
