During sensor installation, a lot of information is passed back and forth between the sensor and bridge. This helps the sensor do the right job at the right time. If the sensor is not calibrated then you might miss out on important notifications about your home.
The sensor can have issues calibrating due to a couple different problems. Try a few troubleshooting steps below to make sure you don't miss a beat.
First delete your sensor
If your sensor was added to your account but it is not calibrated, you will need to go through the installation process again. First, click the sensor icon and navigate to the sensors tab. Then click the sensor that is not calibrated, scroll to the bottom and click delete.
Make sure your sensor is awake
Your sensor might have gone to sleep a some point during installation. Try the troubleshooting steps here to make sure your sensor is on and happy
Make sure your sensor is connected
Next, confirm that your sensor has strong connectivity to your bridge. Often simply the distance between the bridge and sensor is too far; try moving your bridge closer to the sensor. Reinstall your sensor
Click the sensor icon again and navigate to the sensors tab. Then click "Add new sensor" and follow the on screen prompts.
