Does Location Services Need To Be Turned On To Use Notion?

For Android Devices:

The Notion app does need access to Location Services and Location Permissions to configure the Notion Bridge, but it only needs this access once during your initial setup.  

During set-up you will see a screen, prompting you to Turn on Location Services and Enable Location Permissions.  Both requirements must be enabled before you can continue. (see screenshot below)

Your location data will not be stored, until you enable Auto Home/Away mode.

For iOS Devices:

The Notion app does not require Location Permissions to configure the bridge.

We will only store location and prompt for the correct location permissions if you choose to enable Auto Home/Away mode.
